Nate Diaz brands Khabib a 'p***y' after Dana White reveals UFC champ is open to making return
NATE DIAZ has branded Khabib Nurmagomedov a 'p***y' following the news the UFC lightweight champion is open to returning to the octagon.
The recently-retired Nurmagomedov revealed to UFC president Dana White this week that he's considering fighting one more time.
But the Russian insists he'll only return if one of the four lightweights competing next week at UFC 257 does something spectacular.
That didn't impress Diaz, who tweeted: "Kabib is a a p***y for real."
Nurmagomedov, 29-0, retired from mixed martial arts last October after beating Justin Gaethje at UFC 254.
The lightweight king called time on his career after promising his mother he'd no longer fight without his late father by his side.
But it appears he may have received his mother's blessing to return for one more fight.
White said: "Basically the way that he feels right now is, he's accomplished everything he set out to accomplish.

"He thought that [Charles] Oliveira looked really good in his last fight against Tony Ferguson.
"So next Saturday we've got the [Conor] McGregor [Dustin] Poirier fight and [Michael] Chandler and [Dan] Hooker on there.
"So his words to me were,'I'm going to watch this fight. I would never tie up the division.
"These guys do something spectacular, show me something spectacular and make me want to come back and fight."
Earlier this week, White revealed the UFC are working on an entertaining fight for Diaz, who hasn't fought since losing to Jorge Masvidal in November 2019.
He told The MacLife: “We’re working on a Nate Diaz fight right now, and it’s not Tony [Ferguson].
"But if we get it done, I think you’re gonna like it.”
White added: “It would put him in a really good position if he won the fight, and the guy who he could potentially be fighting, I think it’s a great fight for him, too.”
