Premier League sack race – Bruce favourite as Newcastle winless run continues, bookies SLASH Solskjaer odds overnight
STEVE BRUCE is favourite to be the second Premier League manager sent packing this season.
That's according to bookmakers Sky Bet, who've slashed his price from 9/2 to 3/1 after the departure of Watford's Xisco Munoz.

The Spaniard helped win promotion to the Premier League last season after joining in December 2020.
But Xisco became the first casualty of the campaign following the weekend's defeat to Leeds at Elland Road.
The 41-year-old left Vicarage Road with seven points from seven games including two victories over Aston Villa and Norwich.
Bruce, meanwhile, is one of four bosses yet to have collected maximum points in any of his seven top-flight matches.
The Toon are anchored in 19th position with three points following Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Wolves.
Newcastle have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their seven outings and have a tricky run of fixtures against Tottenham, Crystal Palace and Chelsea after the international break.
Bruce has faced significant criticism from Newcastle's fans but is confident of turning things around.

He said: "Whoever you are, whether you are the manager of Newcastle or not, if you haven't won in seven games then ultimately we all know the drill, we all know what comes.
"It's not easy, but the experience I have had helps you. It still disappoints you and upsets you.
"The first thing I look at was could we have been better Could I have done anything better during the week?
"I look at myself straight away and think 'can I do better?'"
Tottenham's Nuno Espirito Santo is second favourite at 7/2.
The Portuguese secured a much-needed win over Aston Villa on Sunday to relieve the pressure after three-consecutive league defeats.
Daniel Farke is available at 4/1 after their point at Turf Moor.
Manchester United's Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has shortened from 20/1 to 6s after escaping with a 1-1 draw against Everton at Old Trafford.
Solskjaer opted to bench Cristiano Ronaldo and Paul Pogba for the clash, which left them with one win from four outings.
Ralph Hasenhuttl is priced at 8/1 with Bruno Lage and Mikel Arteta offered at 10/1 and 12/1 respectively.
