WWE legend Goldberg reveals he needs knee surgery after SummerSlam as he vows to get revenge against champ Bobby Lashley

GOLDBERG has revealed he needs knee surgery after his match with Bobby Lashley.

The Hall of Famer, 54, took a shot to the knee from the WWE champion’s manager MVP which led to the All Mighty targeting it and leading to the referee stopping the match at SummerSlam.

After the match Lashley then put the icon’s son Gage, 15, in The Hurt Lock after he appeared to try and stop his dad from taking any more punishment.

That has led to speculation that a Goldberg vs. Lashley rematch will happen when WWE returns to Saudi Arabia on October 21 for Crown Jewel.

Now the former WCW world title holder has said he no longer cares about the WWE Title.

Instead, he is coming for Lashley’s soul.

When asked about his injury by WWE’s media channels, he said: “Well, I got ligament damage and I have an impending knee surgery. Does that answer your question?

“I really don’t care. But what I do care about is that dirty son of a b***h Bobby Lashley, and what he did to my son at SummerSlam.

“I just left the house, Gage’s shoulder is all jacked up, his neck hurts.

“God knows what a dude that size could’ve done to my son. So, the objective has changed.

“I’m not coming for the WWE Championship, I’m coming for Bobby Lashley’s soul, and I will rip it straight from his chest.”

The veteran is still under contract, which is for two matches a year, with Vince McMahon’s company still has 12 months to run.

However, it seems WWE and Goldberg have come to an agreement for him to work a third.
