BBC Breakfast's Carol Kirkwood looks unrecognisable in glam unearthed pics from the eighties | The Sun
BBC Breakfast's Carol Kirkwood looked unrecognisable in a glam unearthed picture from the eighties.
Todays show saw Sally Nugent and Ben Thompson present the latest news from around the country and across the world.
They also featured a segment about the 1980s, and asked viewers to send in their pictures from the decade.
Sally, 51, said: "This morning on Breakfast we want to see your 80s pictures and hear your 1980s stories because we've got some of our own haven't we Ben?"
As they chuckled they then proceeded to show pictures of members of the BBC Breakfast team back in the 80s for viewers to guess who was who.
The first picture showed a cute little boy with a blonde bowl cut hair style cuddling a cat.

It turned out to be Ben, 41, and he joked: "Look at that carpet, look at the TV, that's my gran's cat Lucy."
The next picture was of a glam young woman in a red hairband with her dark hair pulled back from her face.
She wore a black top and pearl stud earrings and looked directly into the camera.
Sally said: "Ahh I think I know who that beauty is…shall we show everybody?"

As a more recent picture of Carol, 60, popped up alongside it, Sally added: "It's our gorgeous Carol…she looks exactly the same."
Ben agreed, saying: "She hasn't changed one bit."
A little later, a dark haired girl in a denim shirt dress popped up and Ben said: "Look at that pose, that's a full 80s pose."
Sally replied: "Do you think that's an 80s pose?"
It was then revealed the picture was of her and she said: "I still love a shirt dress."
Ben joked about her pose: "It's being told you're not allowed to move because the camera won't work if you move."
BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One.
