WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Britain’s Got Talent.
Starting off the night was dance group the Urban Turtles with a mixed track and a London themed backdrop.
While judge David Walliams joked how it was “the best performance of the night so far”, Alesha Dixon seemed a little less impressed.
She said: “You lost me a bit at Susan Boyle…but kids will love you.”
Second to take to the stage was father and son magic act James and Dylan Piper who used family photos, including one of replacement judge Ashley Banjo and his own son.
Taken back, Ashley said: “I didn’t expect that! Thank you personally but also that set the bar for this competition.”
Next up was singer Imen Siar who performed You Say by Lauren Daigle which the judges all agreed was a performance she could be proud of.
Yakub, an 11-year-old dancer did a lyrical performance to Lion King’s Can You Feel The Love Tonight which David labelled as “really really beautiful”.
After the young dancer was danger magic act James Stott who refers to himself as the “magic marine”, who once again put his life at risk for everyone’s entertainment.
While David laughed at how “manly” he is, Amanda stated: “You fought for our country, you are the backbone of this country…that makes this [act] so unique as an act”.
SOS From The Kids wasn’t able to perform live due to the social distancing restrictions but they were pre-recorded singing another environmentally-focused song which made the judges “sit up and listen”.
Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer Act Faith Ifil sang a rendition of Stand Up For Something by Andra Day.
Commenting on the performance, Alesha said: “I really admire you for standing and delivering a really strong vocal and I think Simon [Cowell] would be proud of you.”
To close the night was comedian Steve Royle who had everyone laughing at loud with juggling and Irish dancing.
Ashley joked at how Steve “actually made me question myself, I don’t think I’d find someone dropping balls so funny”.
While David even went as far as to say: “One of the funniest performers who have been on the show.”
Who made it through tonight on Britain’s Got Talent?
The first act to have made it through to this year’s grand final of Britain’s Got Talent is Steve Royle.
This decision unanimously made by the judges who picked the comedian as their favourite performance of the night.
And, of course, Steve was delighted, saying: “It sounds crazy [to be in the final], it’s genuinely unbelievable.
“Thank you for giving me the opportunity to perform again.”

The remaining seven will be head to head in a vote where it is up to the public to decide.
The act with the most votes will then join Steve in the final which is going to air next month.
But as the semi-finals have all been pre-recorded, fans will not find out tonight and it is unclear when these results will be revealed.
Voting for this week will close this Monday, September 7 at 10am and the winner from this round will be announced in the final on October 10.
Britain’s Got Talent will return next Saturday, September 12 for its second semi-final.
This time, it will be the turn of another eight contestants to take to the stage to win over both the judges and the public at home.
Britain’s Got Talent continues every Saturday at 8pm on ITV.
