Dancing on Ice 2021 line-up confirm ninth contestant…. it's Rebekah Vardy

Rebekah Vardy is the ninth celebrity announced to join the Dancing On Ice line-up.

ITV bosses confirmed the 38-year-old, who is married to Leicester City footballer Jamie Vardy, will be getting her skates on for the upcoming series, alongside Myleene Klass and Denise Van Outen.

The mum-of-five confirmed the news on Good Morning Britain, where she told the hosts that her husband is already excited to watch her on the ice.

‘He thinks it’s a brilliant idea. He’s really looking forward to watching me,’ she said.

‘And he hopes I don’t fall over too much.’

It looks like her co-stars might have some competition on their hands, as she was taught to skate at a very young age.

We’re sure she’ll smash it.

It was recently claimed Rebekah had been offered a whopping £50,000 to take part on the show, following her feud with Coleen Rooney.

Y’know, when Wayne Rooney’s wife accused her of selling stories to the press about their private lives, which sparked the Wagatha Christie hashtag.

She has fiercely denied she was behind the leak, and started legal action against her fellow Wag.

Rebekah – who previously competed on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here – is the ninth person to join the star-studded line-up.

She will be starring alongside Myleene Klass, Capital FM host Sonny Jay, Joe-Warren Plant, Denise Van Outen, Faye Brookes and Jason Donovan.

While Olympians Graham Bell and Colin Jackson confirmed they were taking part over the weekend.

Dancing On Ice returns to ITV in 2021.
