Michelle Heaton opens up on addiction
Michelle Heaton bravely opened up on how she “was a car crash” while suffering from alcohol addiction last year.
She told the Renew podcast: “I’m a good person, I’m kind and loving and love to make people feel good about themselves, but addiction stopped all that.
“It stopped me being who I am, but I couldn’t see it. There was this new version of me.
“Because I was this person, and people didn’t want to hang around with me, and I didn’t know why, obviously it was because I was a car crash, I would manipulate situations so I could get friends to hang out with me.
“I didn’t have an alcohol or drug problem in the celebrity era. My issues came later on in life.”

Dancing on Ice judges accused of ‘sexism and favouritism’ following Michelle Heaton’s exit
Dancing on Ice fans have accused the shows judging panel of “sexism and favouritism” after Michelle Heaton became the latest star to leave the competition.
Michelle, 43, was bottom of the leaderboard with just half a point between her and EastEnders star Patsy Palmer.
Meanwhile at the top was Nile Wilson with 33.5 points.
And night’s scores left fans claiming some male celebrities were “overmarked”.
One viewer fumed: “Why do these evil judges always overmark the men?”
Another said: “Gosh! I hate this show, can’t wait for Ekin to be done with this crap of a show filled with jealous, bitter, old & misogynistic women/men
While a third added: ”It feels like if any of the men come out and do a s*** on the ice the judges will give them a 10, but if a woman skates on their own gets swung around hits the ceiling thrown around they get a 5.5. joke. this show either needs a revamp, or it needs axing.”

Who left Dancing on Ice last week?
On January 29, Dancing on Ice waved goodbye to Liberty X star Michelle Heaton.
She and her partner Lukasz Rozycki performed well in Musicals Week, but failed to impress the judges this week scoring only 20 points.
Michelle found herself in the bottom two alongside EastEnders legend Patsy Palmer.
However, in a shock twist, there was no skate-off and so the person with the fewest votes had to bid farewell to the show.
Speaking about her time on the show, Michelle said: “I’ve loved every second of it. [Łukasz] has just been amazing and I’m so sorry it got cut short.”
