Dancing On Ice 2023 LATEST — Carley Stenson to Conga & Joey Essex to go Paso Doble as Strictly-style dance show REVEALED | The Sun

THE Dancing On Ice stars will take to the ice for a Strictly Come Dancing-style themed heat, with some daring dance-moves planned to wow viewers.

The ITV1 celebrity skating contest will this week challenge the couples to perform different dance styles on ice.

Joey Essex is expected to perform a Paso Doble, while Carley Stenson will dance the conga and Ekin-Su Culculoglu will go disco – all while on the ice.

Last Sunday pop star Michelle Heaton was booted out of the competition after the public vote.

Addressing her exit on social media, Heaton said she was "sad", writing: "What a ride … i didn’t want it to end. Heartbroken. Though hear me when I say, I am overwhelmed with the support on this platform & others, I hear the frustration .. trust me, I am sad too."

The Turkish actress, who is currently competing on Dancing On Ice with Brendyn Hatfield, said she learnt some hard life-lessons after the show.

Michelle Heaton opens up on addiction

Michelle Heaton bravely opened up on how she “was a car crash” while suffering from alcohol addiction last year.

She told the Renew podcast: “I’m a good person, I’m kind and loving and love to make people feel good about themselves, but addiction stopped all that.

“It stopped me being who I am, but I couldn’t see it. There was this new version of me.

“Because I was this person, and people didn’t want to hang around with me, and I didn’t know why, obviously it was because I was a car crash, I would manipulate situations so I could get friends to hang out with me.

“I didn’t have an alcohol or drug problem in the celebrity era. My issues came later on in life.”

Dancing On Ice fans baffled as they spot something very different about Keith Lemon

Eagle eyed viewers were left confused last night after spotting something very different about comedian Keith Lemon.

The Celebrity Juice star was among several celebs in the audience during last night’s live broadcast.

But what left fans confused was his accent.

The star, from Leeds, is known for his strong northern accent, which is part of his professional character Keith.

However, on Dancing On Ice, he appeared with a posh southern accent.

After noticing the change of voice, fans rushed to social media.

One wrote: ”What’s happened to Keith Lemons voice on Dancing on Ice?”

A second said: ”Keith gone all posh?”

Dancing on Ice judges accused of ‘sexism and favouritism’ following Michelle Heaton’s exit

Dancing on Ice fans have accused the shows judging panel of “sexism and favouritism”  after Michelle Heaton became the latest star to leave the competition.

Michelle, 43, was bottom of the leaderboard with just half a point between her and EastEnders star Patsy Palmer.

Meanwhile at the top was Nile Wilson with 33.5 points.

And night’s scores left fans claiming some male celebrities were “overmarked”.

One viewer fumed: “Why do these evil judges always overmark the men?”

Another said: “Gosh! I hate this show, can’t wait for Ekin to be done with this crap of a show filled with jealous, bitter, old & misogynistic women/men

While a third added: ”It feels like if any of the men come out and do a s*** on the ice the judges will give them a 10, but if a woman skates on their own gets swung around hits the ceiling thrown around they get a 5.5. joke. this show either needs a revamp, or it needs axing.”

      • Darren Harriott and Tippy Packard
      • Joey Essex and Vanessa Bauer

      • Mollie Gallagher and Sylvain Longchambon

Who left Dancing on Ice last week?

On January 29, Dancing on Ice waved goodbye to Liberty X star Michelle Heaton.

She and her partner Lukasz Rozycki performed well in Musicals Week, but failed to impress the judges this week scoring only 20 points.

Michelle found herself in the bottom two alongside EastEnders legend Patsy Palmer.

However, in a shock twist, there was no skate-off and so the person with the fewest votes had to bid farewell to the show.

Speaking about her time on the show, Michelle said: “I’ve loved every second of it. [Łukasz] has just been amazing and I’m so sorry it got cut short.”
