Does Jack Branning die in EastEnders – is Scott Maslen leaving the soap?
Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) is on the wrong side of Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) and it could end up costing him dearly.
Even though Lisa (Lucy Benjamin) tried to convince him of the truth, Phil realised Sharon’s baby wasn’t really his when he found out that his wife had lied about Dennis (Bleu Landau) having a parent-teacher conference night Louise (Tilly Keeper) went into labour.
However, he’s still got no idea that the father is actually Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) – instead, he became convinced that Jack is the father and soon he’ll set a deadly plan for revenge in motion…
Does Jack Branning die in EastEnders?
As yet, there’s been no official word as to whether or not Jack Branning is leaving EastEnders.
So there’s no telling what might happen to him as a result of Phil’s thirst for revenge.
Phil has been determined to find out exactly who fathered Sharon’s child, and in an attempt to help, Ben (Max Bowden) asked Jack about his relationship with Sharon – and his response that they go back a long way did nothing to soothe anyone’s mind on the matter.
Then, to make matters worse, Ben then found Sharon’s necklace while he was round at Jack’s, which led both him and Phil to believe Jack has been having an affair with Sharon.
They have no idea that Sharon had recently lent the necklace to Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) who stayed there as part of the wife swap competition with Max Branning (Jake Wood).
New images from set reveal Jack being kidnapped and loaded into the back of a van with a hood over his head, but what could be in store for him?
Could this series of unfortunate misunderstandings have deadly consequences for the copper?
EastEnders is next on tonight at 7:30pm on ITV.
