EastEnders writers sink to new low after featuring FOUR ‘back from the dead’ plotlines over festive period
EASTENDERS fans have slammed writers for trotting out “back from the dead” storylines four times.
Villain Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) was battered by Mick Carter but returned in the next episode.
Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) was declared dead after being pushed down stairs in a row with the Slaters.
He turned out to be very much alive and managed to sneak out of their house with his and Hayley Slater’s baby daughter Cherry.
Fans were baffled further when Ray Kelly (Sean Mahon) strangled Mel Owen (Tamzin Outhwaite) and left her for dead in a cupboard on their wedding day — only for her to reappear.
She later ran over the conman and buried him in a forest. But he clambered out of his shallow grave to attack her.
