Speaking to Express.co.uk and other publications, Kim actress Claire King revealed the character will be heartbroken to discover that Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) is the one trying to make her ill, or worse. Upcoming Emmerdale scenes will see the dramatic outcome of this, and ITV viewers will be left at the edge of their seats.

Official soap spoilers have revealed that Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) finds Diazepam in Will’s toolbox at Home Farm, and tells Jamie Tate (Alex Lincoln).

Jamie thinks Will is the obvious suspect in Kim’s poisoning.

Later, with Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) upstairs, Jamie snoops around Woodbine, smiling when he eventually finds the toolbox with Will’s diazepam inside.

He takes photos of the Diazepam in Will’s toolbox, but is caught red-handed when Will returns home.

Will’s left furious when Jamie plays the innocent, claiming he was only searching for a screwdriver.

Jamie returns to show Kim the photographic evidence of Will’s Diazepam, and she’s shaken to think that he is the one who’s been poisoning her.

Claire said: “Kim’s absolutely heartbroken because she does have feelings for Will.

“They get on, he’s a straight-talker, she thought he’s completely honest. He’s shown that he has feelings for her as well.”

She continued: “And she’s absolutely gutted again to think that another man that she could possibly have fallen in love with could actually be a traitor – and trying to kill her, basically.”

Later, Kim asks Will why he has Diazepam, and he’s wary, refusing to answer the question.

Kim presses the point, and he tells her the Diazepam’s for his nerves, but she’s not buying his explanation.

The next day, Kim fills Jamie in on her plan to have Will caught on camera spiking her drink.

“After this, Jamie then says ‘right, we’ll set a trap to try and catch Will red-handed,'” Claire explained.

“So they use Kim Cam! So they set up the horse’s head in front of the drinks trolley and Kim sets up this ruse that she’ll actually try and attract Will to come and she makes an excuse about her oven door being broken by Noah.

“But she’s all dressed up to the nines, to try and seduce him, and Jamie’s watching everything on Kim Cam.

“So the idea is to get Will to poison Kim’s drink and get him arrested.

“But then Jamie gets a call after Dawn’s interrupted him at the office, and everything’s going well as far as Jamie’s concerned.

“The next thing Jamie gets is a call from the police saying that his mother’s collapsed, she’s on the floor.

“He sees Will being arrested and Kim’s spark out and that’s when he’s told that she’s actually dead.”

Emmerdale continues on Wednesday on ITV Hub at 7pm.
