Finding Alice star teases second series after 'crazy, cliffhanger finale' left her 'in shock' & with A LOT of questions

FINDING Alice's Isabella Pappas has teased a second series after the 'crazy, cliffhanger finale' left her 'in shock' and with A LOT of questions.

Isabella plays Charlotte in the ITV drama, whose dad Harry dies suddenly just hours after the family moved into the smart house he built for them.

*Spoilers ahead for Finding Alice*

Charlotte and her mum Alice – played by Keeley Hawes – soon discover Harry had been hiding a multitude of secrets from them.

Not only had Harry signed over their dream home to his parents before his death, but he was also broke and as if that wasn't enough, he also had a secret son called George.

Speaking about all the twists and turns of the series, Isabella told Metro.co.uk: "There’s a lot of huge big reveals that will come out.

"There’s a huge cliffhanger and the show gets much more crazy. I’m really excited to see people’s reactions because I would have never expected half the things that end up happening.

She added with a tease: "It definitely gets very interesting."

The series – which is available as a box set on ITV Hub – ends with George (George Webster) spying on Alice and Charlotte via their homes CCTV cameras.

Discussing the cliffhanger finale, Isabella said: "I felt shock, and then I felt like I needed to know what happens next.

"You want more which I think is good because then that opens it up. It would be amazing if we did season two."

While the plot brings plenty of drama to the screen and deals with the subject of grief, there are moments in the script that bring some light relief and laughter for viewers.

However, the fact that they are crying at Alice's grieving and despair one minute, then laughing at things like her being unable to find her own fridge in the new smart house Harry had built for the family has left many viewers confused.

Taking to Twitter, many questioned what genre the show was supposed to be, with one writing: "Can't make out if this is a drama or a comedy? I'm confused #FindingAlice."

Another added: "Anybody else confused watching #FindingAlice?? Can't work out if they've tried to make it a comedy or what."

Finding Alice continues on Sunday, February 7 at 9pm on ITV, and is available as a complete box set on ITV Hub.
