Georgia Harrison praised by GMB viewers as emotional star opens up on Stephen Bear revenge porn court case | The Sun

GEORGIA Harrison has been praised by Good Morning Britain viewers after opening up on her revenge porn court case with ex Stephen Bear.

Ex On The Beach star Bear was this week found guilty of sharing a secret garden sex tape of the pair, which was filmed without the Love Island star's knowledge.

The reality star, 32, filmed the consensual sex on CCTV then made at least £40,000 on the X-rated site from uploading the clip.

Bear was found guilty of voyeurism and two counts of disclosing private, sexual photographs and films and will be sentenced at a later date.

At the time, Georgia, 28, had begged him not to share the footage after he showed it to her as it would "upset her greatly".

On Thursday's Good Morning Britain the ex TOWIE star, who bravely waived her anonymity in the court case, told how she had felt "very very upset" at the time.

She told hosts Adil Ray and Ranvir Singh: "I always had a belief at that point it wouldn't go any further than between the two of us."

Admitting to the ITV show she felt "hurt, humiliated and ashamed" when she had been notified by a fan in America how the clip had been leaked on a "global platform," she added: "I felt very used.

"I felt used that a moment of love was a moment of making money for them.

"It took a long time for me to get to this point."

Yet turning her terrible experience into a positive, Georgia wants to shed the spotlight on revenge porn, which she describes as a "rife crime" and "so much more prevalent than you would imagine."

She added: "I had just suffered in silence with the fear of it surfacing for so long.

"Not only do I want to take a stand for myself but I want to do it for other women and men because it is such a rife crime.

"People do not realise the effect it has on people."

Fans were quick to take to Twitter to comment, with one writing: "Georgia Harrison 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 #GMB."

Another cheered: "Yes Georgia 👏🏻👏🏻 #gmb" as a third put: "Well done Georgia. To stand up against such a low life cretin, disgusting that he can do that or how anyone can do that to someone. I do feel
@gmb should emphasize that this should be aimed at everyone not just men."

Another added: "Very brave Georgia, life must have been a living nightmare for you, hopefully you have some peace of mind now that scumbag has been found guilty!!"

One added: "So brave of her and hope her speaking out helps other revenge porn victims too."

Each offence, which took place between August and November 2020, carry a maximum two year sentence.

Bear claimed he was "always fighting a losing battle" as he was bailed ahead of his sentencing on January 31 next year.
