Geri Halliwell jokes about replacing Victoria Beckham in behind the scenes footage from the Spice Girls Walkers Crisps ad – The Sun

GERI Halliwell has been filmed saying she had found the perfect replacement for Victoria Beckham in the Spice Girls.

She made the joke in secret behind-the-footage from the Spice Girls' advert for Walkers Crisps.

Ginger Spice Geri had a laugh about finding the fifth member of the Spice Girls after Victoria Beckham refused to join the tour.

In the exclusive video, the Who Do You Think You Are? singer pointed at the actress who played a mum in their Walkers advert.

She said: "You know Victoria didn't want to do it? Well, we've got our new stand in."

The rest of the Spice Girls fell about laughing after Geri's impromptu suggestion.

They all  they danced around with the actress, who plays the mum of their number-one fan in the skit.

The Sun exclusively revealed that Victoria Beckham would not be taking part in the reunion when it was announced last November.

She decided to focus on her fashion empire instead.

However, the group reunited for the first time in seven years, this time without Posh Spice Victoria Beckham, 45, to put on their much-hyped shows.

Ginger Spice Geri Horner, 46, Sporty Spice Mel C, 44, Baby Spice Emma Bunton, 43, and Scary Spice Mel B, 44,

will kick off the London leg of their epic tour tonight.

The Spice Girls are celebrating incredible success with this tour having have sold over 700,000 tickets.

The Greatest Hits album is currently number 4 iTunes album Chart, and the Spice Girls CD sales are up 70% since the tour kicked off in true style in Dublin.

The band, that first got together 20 years ago, said: "The last couple of weeks have been magical.

"To be back together and celebrating with all our fans is an absolute joy.

"The sheer force of passion, love and energy we’ve been feeling from the audiences each night is simply awesome and will give us memories to treasure for life.

"There have been so many highlights so far. The response wherever we’ve gone has completely exceeded our expectations. Even when there has been heavy rain the crowds have really gone for it which made us even more excited than we are anyway."
