Gilmore Girls Rory's baby's dad finally revealed six years after show ended on surprise pregnancy | The Sun
GILMORE GIRLS' baby cliffhanger has finally been explained six years after the show wrapped.
The US series ran for seven seasons and was regarded by Time as one of the 100 greatest television programmes of all time.
It enjoyed a re-boot and eighth season on Netflix in 2016 with Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life.
The spin-off followed Lorelai, Rory and Emily Gilmore through four seasons of the year and was set in the present day.
Yet as the final chapter came to a close, a thrilling storyline saw Rory, played by Alexis Bledel, announcing she was pregnant.
The shock plot simply saw her character tell on-screen mum Lorelei Gilmore, played by Lauren Graham, the words: "Mom, I'm pregnant."

Yet with that, the series ended – with no further context.
Now Valerie Campbell, who worked as the costume supervisor, has taken to TikTok to reveal Rory's babydaddy.
She told her followers: "So let's do the math. In winter, she (Rory) is sleeping with Paul – maybe, maybe not, I don't know – she might have forgotten to do it, but she definitely forgot to break up with that guy.
"But she definitely wasn't sleeping with him."

She continued: "Spring, she sleeps with the Wookie once. And if it was the Wookie, she would definitely be showing and we never gave her a pregnancy belly, that is very, very important.
"We never gave her one, we were never instructed to give her one. It is definitely not the Wookie. Then the obvious choice is, you guessed it, Logan. Amy [Sherman-Palladino] Gilmore Girls' writer] herself said, 'Why were people even questioning who the father is?' It's because it was supposed to be very, very, very, very, very, very obvious."
Matt Czuchry played Logan Huntzberger, Rory’s last love interest in the series – and apparent father to her child.
He starred in the TV series Friday Night Lights after Gilmore Girls and went on to act in The Good Wife.
Previously, The Sun reported how Gilmore Girls super fans can now visit the Stars Hollow set.
Meanwhile, Lauren who played Lorelai Gilmore, starred in countless productions after Gilmore Girls.
She was in films such as Evan Almighty, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and Joshy.
The actress previously told Republic World about not resisting to separate other roles from Lorelai’s character, saying: “I think rather than try to worry about that, I kind of give into it.
“I don’t think I can ever separate myself too much, there’s too much of me in there.
“I don’t know if I want to entirely (separate myself from that role).
“If I was trying to get away from it entirely, I feel that could never do anything comedic again. I would only have to only do ‘law and order’ type of stuff."
She added: “That’s just not me, not who I am.”
As of 2021, Lauren was on the TV series Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, Vampirina, and The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers.
Aside from being on Gilmore Girls, Alexis is known for starring on The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants I and II, Tuck Everlasting, and The Conspirator.
