Denmark has become the first European country to stop the rollout of AstraZeneca after concerns were raised about rare cases of blood clots. On Good Morning Britain, Dr Hilary Jones slammed the country’s decision and argued Denmark’s vaccination programme will now be delayed possibly to the point of instigating a third wave.

“It’s a bit of a gamble in terms of public health. It’s very bizarre and it’s something they could regret.”
