GMB’s Kate Garraway leaves viewers gobsmacked with candid body hair confession

Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway updated viewers on her Januhairy experience this morning after confirming she was taking part in the challenge last week.

The telly favourite, 52, told viewers that she was taking part in Dry January with co-star Ben Shephard and that she was taking on Januhairy, a campaign where people decide to not shave anything on their body for the whole month of January.

Former I'm a Celeb campmate reminded her co-stars and viewers that she was taking part in the challenge today.

Presenter Susanna Reid, 47, asked: "Who's doing Dry Janauary?" prompting Ben and Kate to put up their hands.

Kate explained: "Me and Ben are both doing Dry January.

She cheekily added: "I am doing Januhairy. I'll have to start wearing long trouser suits soon." leaving her co-stars in stitches.

Fans of the ITV breakfast show rushed to their keyboards to discuss Kate's confession this morning.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: "Vig thanks to Kate Garraway, nice to know you’re growing your pubes."

Another added: Januhairy couldn't think of anything worse Kate."

A third joked: "Kate, you've already said you're doing Januhairy."

Kate was forced to tell Ben off last week when he went too fair with a Januhairy joke.

Kate explained what Januhairy is, telling viewers: "Dry January, Ben and I are both doing. And then there’s something called Januhairy, which means for the whole month of January you don’t shave anything, you don’t cut anything, don’t trim anything. Just let it all go au naturale."

The ITV star sported a fake ginger beard and moustache on the segment, before taking it off to sample some meat free pasties which have launched for Veganuary.

She asked Ben to have a bite of her pasty, to which her pal quipped: "If I’m going to have to share your pubic hair I might as well share your steak bake."

A shocked Kate replied: "Stop it, no one said that! You just went that little bit too far."

Kate had previously hilariously mistaken Januhairy for the name for Hairanuary leaving Ben in stiches.
