Helen Flanagan has reportedly quit Coronation Street for good to "focus on her three children," according to reports.

The 31 year old left the soap on maternity leave in June 2018 but is yet to return, with it now being reported she has no plans to head back to the Cobbles.

Since leaving in 2018 to welcome second daughter Delilah, Helen has gone on to welcome a son, Charlie, this March.

A source told The Sun: "It's up in the air as to whether she will ever return. She has other career dreams she'd like to work on before making up her mind.

"She wants to focus on her three children and has other career dreams, including acting roles, she would like to work on before making up her mind whether to reprise her role as Rosie.

"In the short term the break would be around two to three more years but there’s no saying she will come back even after that.

"Helen loves Coronation Street, her character and the family but it takes up a huge amount of her time and it's become unfeasible.

"ITV have left the door open for her should she ever wish to come back."

OK! online has contacted representatives for both Helen and ITV for comment on this story.

The star recently revealed she moved home in secret, but was feeling overwhelmed as she faced unpacking the family's belongings.

Opening up, Helen spoke on her Instagram stories and said: "I'm trying to get on top of the house. I've actually moved house recently which is exciting but it has been stressful.

"I haven't shared it on my social media. I don't know. It might sound really silly to a lot of people but sometimes sharing some things on Instagram makes me feel a bit anxious.

"Anyway we've been moving house the last few weeks really and I'm not going to lie. I do feel a bit overwhelmed.

"Every single room is like towers of boxes and I can't find anything and organisation is not my strong point."

She added how she had also struggled with a sickness bug, continuing: "Scott's been away all weekend with football and my mum's been away. Looking after three young children with the bug has been hard.

"Girls have argued the whole time and Charlie has wanted to be held all the time. Not being a misery but showing a bit of reality."
