Holly Willoughby and Bradley Walsh's new game show Take Off has come under fire by unhappy viewers.

This Morning host Holly, 40, teamed up with The Chase star Bradley, 61, to present the new BBC game show, after the pilot's success in 2019.

Take Off sees members of the public compete to win dream holidays around the world.

Despite the epic prizes at stake and the high profile stars fronting the show, it has failed to win over viewers.

Two episodes have aired so far, but have received criticism from disgruntled viewers.

As the second show of the series so far aired on Saturday 31 July on BBC One, viewers took to Twitter to share their disappointment.

One penned of the latest offering: "Seen 5 minutes of this and that’s enough. This has to be the worst game show ever. #takeoff I’d rather watch Eldorado."

Another agreed by writing: "This is the worst thing to have ever been on tv."

While a third insisted they won't be tuning in again as they said: "I love myself too much to watch this s***e again #takeoff."

And another posted: "I thought #rollinginit was a Saturday TV low, til I saw this c**p #takeoff."

But, not everyone had a negative reaction to the show, as others found it very entertaining.

One said: "This is the campest, tackiest game show ever and I love it #TakeOff."

Another added: "Omg loved @hollywills and @BradleyWalsh on #takeoff Exactly what Saturday night is all about!

"Loved guessing the islands on the baggage belt! Might be because I got them all right!!!"

A third tweeted: "I never get to watch Saturday night Tv but I really enjoyed #TakeOff on BBC1 . Nice light Saturday evening entertainment."

Before the series launched, Holly admitted her new TV partner is more of a handful than her bestie Phillip Schofield, whom she co-hosts This Morning with.

As it seems that Bradley, the star of The Chase and Doctor Who, soon to be seen as Pop Larkin in a Darling Buds Of May reboot, likes to have fun on set.

And so with games to be played and luxury holidays to be won, it can be down to Holly to try and make sure the show stays on course!

Asked what it's like working with Brad, the TV favourite retorted, "A nightmare! No, it was lovely, although he does need reining in and keeping in check."
