'How to Get Away With Murder': Here's When the ABC Series Will Officially End

How to Get Away With Murder is a history-making show for ABC. Starring Viola Davis, the crime thriller ran for several seasons for the network. It will officially wrap a six-season run when it returns in April. But when will the series come on our screens for the last time?

Spoiler alert: This article contains major spoilers about the sixth season of How to Get Away with Murder

The most recent episode ended with a huge cliffhanger

Fans around the world were shocked when at the end of the midseason finale, at what seems to be Annalise’s funeral, Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch) appears. Of course, the character seemingly died on-screen a few seasons back, but clearly Wes is alive and well.

Many questions have to be answered when the show returns. Is Wes really alive? How did he survive the fire? Did anyone help Wes cover his death? Where has he been this entire time? The show (and Wes) have a lot to explain and there is only a limited amount of time to wrap this story up.

Meanwhile, Asher (Matt McGorry) is dead and Connor (Jack Falahee) and Michaela (Aja Naomi King) are being questioned about it. Also, we still don’t know what the whole deal is with Annalise, but we’re pretty sure that she’s not dead and at the very least, she staged her death with help.

The series will wrap up completely in May

The groundbreaking series is set to complete its six-season run soon. The show has been iconic in the sense that Viola Davis was the first woman of color to win the Primetime Emmy Award of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for the role. She’s also won two SAG Awards, a People’s Choice Award, and an NAACP Image Award.
