Little People's Tori Roloff defends letting son Jackson, 4, play with lit sparklers during holiday celebration
LITTLE People, Big World's Tori Roloff was quick to defend her parenting decision of letting her son Jackson play with lit sparklers during their Fourth of July celebration.
Tori and her husband, Zach Roloff, are still hoping to have more kids even following their miscarriage.
The LPBW star took to her Instagram Stories to share a short clip of her 4-year-old son handling a lit sparkler.
In the clip, the little one smiles and waves the sparkler, as Tori yells, "say happy birthday America!"
However, the reality star made sure to ease people's concerns, as she wrote over the clip: "Don't worry. The grass was soaking wet. My shoes are proof."
Aside from Jackson, Tori also shares 1-year-old daughter Lilah with Zach, however the famous couple previously suffered a miscarriage.
Tori told Us Weekly: "I think that we’re still hopeful that one day we will get to have another baby, and until then, we’re just kind of happy where we are.”
Zach, 31, also revealed to the outlet how he and Tori have been handling the news of losing their baby with Jackson.
The father of two said: "We stopped talking about it, and he hasn’t asked about it since… He went to go stay with grandpa. He got a lot of farm time.”
Tori, 29, also touched on the possibility of adopting in the future and said it was something they would "definitely" consider.
She explained: “I’ve always thought parents that have the heart for adoption or for foster care, I respect and adore them.
"I think those parents are amazing. It’s not something we’ve necessarily talked about, but those parents that do do that, I think it’s incredible.”
The pair revealed the news of their miscarriage on March 13, as Tori said at the time: "… We went in for our first ultrasound at 8 weeks and found out that we lost our sweet baby two weeks earlier.
"I’ve honestly never felt loss like I did in that moment. I’ve never felt so sad, angry, and scared in a single moment…"
Meanwhile, Tori shrugged off Audrey Roloff's pregnancy announcement, as her husband's brother Jeremy and his wife recently revealed they are expecting their third child.
The soon-to-be mother of three shared the news in an emotional video alongside Jeremy, 31, as they played with their children in the yard.
While many family members, including Amy Roloff and her son Jacob's wife, Isabel, congratulated the couple, Tori had nothing to say.
Tori and Audrey have been at odds for years over differing opinions and beliefs.
Jeremy and his wife follow a strict Christian lifestyle and promote conservative viewpoints, while Tori and her husband Zach lean more liberal in their lifestyles.
