However, the movie fan had been watching the film, which stars Elijah Wood and Ian McKellen, with Swedish subtitles and was surprised to find out what those two words translated to.
The subtitles read: "SLUT."
While the word may be completely innocent in Swedish, it means something very different English, as 'slut' means a woman who has a lot of casual sex.
The video, which has gained more than 7.9million views, was shared on X with the caption: "I honestly recommend watching the entire LOTR trilogy with Swedish subtitles on, just for this beautiful moment."
Fans were left howling with laughter as they took to the replies to poke fun at the translation, which has racked up 128,000 likes.
One viewer wrote: "Every few years the internet discovers that the Swedish/Danish word for "the end" is "slut" and it's beautiful every time."
Another commented: "…and now I know a word is Swedish."
A third added: "I love languages."
