Love Island 2019: Who are the couples after tonight’s recoupling?

Love Island tonight (Thursday, July 11) had its latest recoupling which saw a number of surprises in the villa as new couples were formed. Marvin Brooks was dumped from Love Island after Maura Higgins chose a new guy to couple up with on the ITV2 series. Francesca Allen and Chris Taylor took part in their first Love Island recoupling tonight.

Who are the Love Island couples after tonight’s recoupling?

Francesca Allen and Curtis Pritchard

Despite Maura showing interest in Curtis over the last few days, it was new arrival Francesca who got to couple up with him.

Francesca is only the second person Curtis has been coupled up with on Love Island 2019, as he was coupled with Amy Hart until she left the ITV series earlier this week.

Joanna Chimonides and Michael Griffiths

Joanna chose Michael Griffiths after the two of them coupled up in Casa Amor.

Michael began Love Island with Yewande Biala, then was coupled up with Amber Gill until Casa Amor.

Anna Vakili and Jordan Hames

Anna previously dumped Jordan to be with Ovie Soko after Casa Amor, but in the latest recoupling, she decided to return to Jordan.

Prior to coupling with Jordan and Ovie, Anna had been coupled with axed contestant Sherif Lanre.

Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury

Molly-Mae and Tommy seem to be the couple to beat after they recoupled for the fourth time in a row.

Tommy briefly was in a couple with Lucie Donlan when he first entered the Love Island villa but has been with Molly-Mae ever since.

Belle Hassan and Anton Danyluk

Belle chose to recouple with Anton, who she met during the Casa Amor stage.

This marks the first time Anton has been through two recouplings with the same girl after previously coupling with Amy, Amber, Elma Pazar and Lucie.

Amber Gill and Ovie Soko

Amber saved Ovie from being dumped by coupling with him as friends.

Amber was previously with Michael, while Ovie was with Anna after Casa Amor.

Maura Higgins and Chris Taylor

Maura Higgins was left with the choice as current beau Marvin Brooks and new arrival Chris Taylor.

However, she chose Chris, leaving Marvin out of a couple and therefore dumped from the villa.

Love Island 2019 airs nightly at 9pm on ITV2.
