Love Island former contestant spills all on islanders ‘creating drama’

This year’s Love Island has been packed with drama as the contestants continue to enjoy their long hot summer of love.

Viewers have been hooked on all of the couples ups and downs in the villa, particularly Danny Williams, Yewande Biala and Arabella Chi’s love triangle.

However is everything that hits fans scenes completely natural or are islanders given a nudge in the right direction?

Love Island 2018 contestant Eyal has revealed islanders often “create dramas” when they find themselves with not much to do.

Speaking exclusively to he dished: It’s all completely natural I think everyone is pretty aware going in there that you want to evolve a relationship with somebody and I think that just happens naturally.

“You’ve got a lot of time in there and sometimes it can get a little bit boring at points where you’re sat around the whole time.

“But there’s no real outside influence you just almost create your own situations and dramas in there.”

Eyal revealed he enjoyed his time on the show but admitted there were moments when he found the experience tough.

“Completely in this Love Island bubble which can be really amazing and hard at times,” he added.

“You’re very much away from the outside world in every way shape and form.”

Former Islander Eyal has also revealed exactly what happens when the islanders get hungry, as meal times are rarely shown on the show.

“For breakfast we had a fridge full of food, we all said the things we liked to eat before going into the villa and lunch and dinner were catered for,” he revealed.

“Those meals were left for us in the larder, we would be told it as there and then we’d enjoy a big buffet style meal.”

Meanwhile the reason reason islanders are rarely seen in the pool has been explained.

The islanders are often heard complaining about the hot weather and yet it seemed Michael Griffiths and Amber Gill were the first stars to use the pool this year last week.

A spokesperson for Love Island has told why fans rarely spot the islanders splashing about in the pool.

They said: “No reason other than it’s not possible to show everything that happens in the villa.”

Viewers were quick to notice Amber and Michael’s dip in the pool and took to Twitter to share their surprise.

One said: “Catching up on last nights love island and I’m actually in shock the islanders are in the pool #loveisland.”

“First time I’ve seen them in the pool all series #LoveIsland,” another added and a third exclaimed: “Oh. My. God. The islanders are finally in the pool?! #LoveIsland.”

Love Island airs on ITV2 tonight at 9pm.
