Love Island's Amber brilliantly checks Anton for being mean to Anna Vakili

Anton Danyluk found himself on the receiving end of Amber Gill’s anger on Love Island after making insensitive comments to Anna Vakili.

Anton had a chat with Anna, who was coupled up with Sherif Lanre before he was shockingly kicked off the show, to tell her where he stands…for some reason.

He admitted that she wasn’t his type like Molly-Mae Hague, but he was attracted to her ‘personality’, which is exactly what she wanted to hear – not.

Anton said: ‘As much as Molly is my type, she’s beautiful from the outside-in, you’re beautiful on the inside and out.

‘You’re not necessarily my absolute type on paper but Molly, who is someone who is my type, I still wouldn’t want to be with someone like that.’

Amber got wind of the conversation and she and Michael Griffiths sat Anton down to give him a telling off for being mean.

When Anton said that Molly Mae as ‘my type on paper’, Amber shot back: ‘It doesn’t matter if it was on paper, on laptop, or whatever.’

In the Beach Hut she fumed: ‘Anton is such an idiot. The boy has a good heart but I don’t how he could speak to Anna like that and think it went well.’

Shockingly, Anton blamed the situation on him being Scottish insisting that his ‘personality’ comments ‘work in Scotland’.

As for Anna, she made it clear that she wasn’t happy with Anton, saying in the Beach Hut: ‘I do want to be someone’s type to a T. That’s what I want, I’m not settling for less.’

Good on ya, girl.

Anna is currently single after Sherif decided to leave the show after ‘breaking the rules’.

The former islander broke his silence on Wednesday and didn’t give anything away about what happened, although speculation has been rife.

Taking to his Instagram story, the 20-year-old shared a message for fans, explaining he was ‘all good’.

‘Thank you to everyone including my friends and family for the support I’ve come back to,’ he began to his 284k followers.

‘I appreciate you all and hope I provided some good, positive moments during my time on Love Island, and for anyone wondering, I’m all good.’

In true Sherif style, he added: ‘#ItIsWhatItIs #BiggerThingsToCome.’

Love Island airs weekdays at 9pm on ITV2.
