Love Islands Will and Casey forced to miss final following shock Aftersun row

Love Island's axed stars Will Young and Casey O'Gorman have unfortunately had to miss out on attending the show's live final tonight despite attending the last episode of Aftersun in South Africa only a day earlier.

The duo ended up having a spat during the programme as host Maya Jama revealed the truth about Casey and Jessie Wynter's awkward issues in the villa, when the latter was labelled "fake" by some of her fellow islanders.

While he was laughing on the sofa in response to Maya's quizzing, 23 year old Will ended up calling over to Casey, 26, and calling him a "snake".

Casey insisted he and Will had already talked about the Jessie issue and cleared the air, but it was clear things were left unsaid between the two.

And as Will returned to his original seat, the two boys could be seen tensely whispering to each other.

While viewers feared the pair had actually fallen out during the show, they were later seen heading home together as as they headed back to the airport in South Africa.

Casey and Rosie Seabrook walked together to the terminal, and they showed Will and Jessie following behind, as brunette bombshell Rosie said excitedly: "Home-time."

Casey and Will also posed for a selfie before embarking on their long flight back to the UK.

The scenes which seemed to shock Will on Aftersun followed a conversation between Casey and Maxwell Samuda.

"The more I'm seeing of Jessie, the more I think she's playing a game," Casey said, planting the seed.

In another villa conversation, Casey said: "Honestly, it was one of the most strange interactions.

"The way she was speaking to me, it seemed like such an act."

In another villa conversation, Casey offered: "Honestly, it was one of the most strange interactions," before it cut to the islander telling Jessie he had never said any such thing.

As the reality sunk in of Casey's deception, a taken-aback Will told Maya: "Do you know what it is a bit of a surprise. I did go up to Casey and was like "what are your thoughts, tell me?"

While Casey, Rosie, Will and Jessie were all heading back to the UK on the plane during the final, four of the dumped islanders back in the UK were getting glam and heading to a special VIP party.

Claudia Fogarty, Olivia Hawkins, Tanyel Revan and Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown excitedly shared their looks on Instagram as they decked out in stunning dresses and gorgeous hair-dos for the party.

The group got ready together and Olivia also showed off her brand new mane after a fresh trip to the hair salon.

Love Island the final is available to watch on ITV2 and ITVX
