The former Towie star ruled out marriage for the foreseeable future because she didn't want to steal her sister's thunder.

In an interview with Fabulous out today, Lucy said: "Don't get me wrong, I'd love to get married one day, but my sister is getting married in Cape Town in November so it's all about her right now.

"I'm not stealing her thunder, no way! It will happen one day, I hope, but I'm trying not to start a countdown that I want to do it by a certain age."

The 27-year-old was proposed to during a romantic trip to Italy last week.

She shared a picture from the moment he popped the question in the picturesque Italian resort of Positano.

She wrote: "I said YES" along with a ring emoji.

In the picture, the couple can be seen smiling on a veranda with a nighttime view of the Amalfi Coast behind them.

Holding Ryan's face, Lucy showed off her glittering engagement ring.

She then took to her Instagram Stories to share a closer up shot of her new bling.
