Money Heist: Fans believe Tatiana is key in series five events
Money Heist fans love the Spanish drama which follows a group of criminals attempting to pull off a heist. Netflix recently announced the series would be coming back in a new form as it is being remade as a Korean series. This has left some wondering if there may be some more versions of the show on their way.
Will Money Heist also get an Indian adaptation?
Earlier this month, it was confirmed Money Heist would be being remade as a Korean series.
Netflix confirmed the news in a statement and revealed it will be directed by Kim Hong-sun and written by Ryu Yong-jae.
Original show creator Alex Pina is expected to executive produce and he revealed his thoughts in a statement.
He said: “Korean creators have been developing their own language and audiovisual culture for years.

“They have managed, like our series, to go beyond cultural borders and become a point of reference for thousands of viewers around the world, especially among young people.
“That is why I find it fascinating that the world of La Casa de Papel is so attractive to Korean creators as to do an adaptation.
“The fact that the action is set on the Korean Peninsula also seems to me to be a milestone which I am really delighted about.”
While many are excited by the news, it has also left some wondering whether the series might also be remade by any other countries.
One option is India, given the show’s huge apparel with audiences in the country.
Recently, publication The Indian Express confirmed the show was one of the most tweeted about series in India in 2020.
Therefore, it seems this could be a great market for the show to tap into.
As of yet, there have been no announcements whether the show could be remade in India.

However, given the news about a Korean version, it is possible more adaptations could be on their way.
As well as this, Money Heist director Alex Rodrigo has previously spoken about what actors he would pick for an Indian cast of the show.
He was shown pictures of some stars in an interview with behindwoods.com where he was asked to choose his favourites.
Some of the stars he picked included Shah Rukh Khan as either Berlin or Palermo, Ayushmann Khurrana or Vijay as the Professor and Ajith Kumar as Bogota.
There have also been rumours in the past the show could get an Indian adaptation.
Back in 2019, the Mumbai Mirror reported Shah Rukh Khan had bought the rights to the hit Spanish series.
There were even rumours he was planning to make this into a feature film.
However, nothing more has been revealed about the potential of this so far.
If the series is to be remade in India, Express.co.uk will keep viewers updated on this.
In the meantime, viewers will have to just keep waiting patiently for the fifth season to be released.
Money Heist seasons 1-4 are available to stream on Netflix now.
