Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) takes great pleasure in making Victoria Barton (Isabel Hodgins) feel guilty over Theo’s disappearance in Emmerdale next week.

The evil killer is stunned when she finds beau David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) in the company of Vic after what’s transpired, and therefore she decides to twisting the knife some more.

‘Poor baby,’ she says in this scene from next Wednesday’s episode, describing how Theo is doing, after he vanished last week.

‘He’s extra clingy and having nightmares, but apart from that he seems okay!’

Victoria is apalled to learn that the toddler is having nightmares, and she’s riddled with guilt over the incident.

Viewers know that Victoria isn’t actually to blame for what transpired. Jealous Meena, who wanted to punish Victoria and get her out of David’s life once and for all, decided that she would kidnap Theo from Vic’s home.

A search commenced in the wake of the little lad’s vanishing, and sick Meena took great delight in pointing the finger at Victoria.

In twisted scenes, she marched into the village with Theo, and was hailed as a hero, as she revealed that she found him near the bridge where Leanna Cavanagh (Mimi Slinger) died.

Meena’s plan evidently payed off, and next week, she sets her sights on further alienating Victoria, by building a relationship with Theo.

‘It’s about building trust,’ she says. ‘The tighter we keep our little unit, the more secure we’ll feel.

‘Not that I want to guilt trip you for putting him in danger,’ she continues to Victoria, deliberately trying to do just that!

Emmerdale airs these scenes Wednesday August 25 at 7pm on ITV.
