Newcomer Suni warned off Nicky in Emmerdale but the sexual tension explodes

Suni (Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana) – Jai Sharma’s (Chris Bisson) cousin – has been in the Emmerdale village all of five minutes and already, he has his sights set on newly single Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope).

Not long after we met Nicky, we established not only that he’s the son of Caleb (William Ash), but he’s also gay and was in a relationship with a man called Ally (Joshua Horrocks).

Nicky and Ally were incredibly happy together but at the same time things were progressing, Nicky was also being instructed to marry Gabby (Rosie Bentham) as part of Caleb’s plot to bring down Home Farm.

When the truth was revealed, Ally was incredibly hurt that Nicky had spent so long lying to him and said that he’s on his own from now on.

After Nicky attempted to kill Caleb by pushing him from a ravine (aw, family love), he has mainly been focused on rebuilding his relationship with his father and keeping his head down as he’s not exactly the most popular member of the Dales currently.

Nicky decided to bite the bullet and made his way to Home Farm in Wednesday’s (July 12) edition of the ITV soap. He wanted to give Clemmie a birthday card but bumped into Gabby as well, who angrily ranted about Nicky and ended up revealing Dawn’s (Olivia Bromley) pregnancy in front of Clemmie and Lucas.

Elsewhere, newcomer Suni was chatting to Rishi (Bhasker Patel) after finding out the news that Jai is adopted.

Suni urged Rishi to tell Jai the truth about his father, but Rishi was still maintaining that they didn’t actually know much about Jai’s biological dad.

That evening, as Suni and Rishi were chatting in the pub, Suni glanced over to see Nicky laughing at the bar.

Suni smirked but Rishi told him that Nicky is absolutely bad news.

‘Just my type’, Suni responded.

With Nicky and Suni set to get to know each other, could this be exactly what they both need?

Or will Nicky bring trouble to the village again?
