Rylan warns were having none of that as he supports Tilly Ramsay after she was called chubby

Rylan Clark-Neal has supported Strictly Come Dancing star Tilly Ramsay after a radio presenter labelled her "chubby" live on air last week.

Speaking on Friday's Strictly spin-off show, It Takes Two, presenter Rylan, 32, addressed the offensive remarks as he warned "not having none of that, thank you" and added: "You come for her, you come for us!"

Last week, Tilly, 19, whose father is Gordon Ramsay, hit back at radio presenter Steve Allen after he said that he is "bored with her already”, and proceeded to describe the star as a "chubby little thing".

Talking on Friday's It Takes Two, Rylan said: "We love Tilly on this show! Not having none of that, thank you… you come for her, you come for us!"

To which former Strictly star, Jamie Laing, commented: "Can we also remember she's 19?" with Rylan adding: "She's literally a child!"

Jamie, 32, continued: "When I was 19, I was wearing a pink boiler suit on the beach."

While Rylan quipped: "I was in the park drinking Lambrini!"

Tilly, who is currently taking part in the dance competition with pro Nikita Kuzmin, has been supported by her Strictly friends and co-stars since radio presenter Steve's offensive remarks.

The 19 year old hit back as she shared a statement on her Instagram feed last week, reminding her 1.1 million Instagram followers that "words can hurt" and that she's still "learning to accept herself".

The TikTok sensation went on to say that she "won't tolerate people that think it's okay to publicly comment and scrutinise anyone's weight and appearance".

Tilly's co-stars couldn't believe Steve made the remarks about her either and flocked to her comments section to share their love and support.

Judge Shirley Ballas wrote: "@tillyramsay my darling having been through this myself I hear you. [red heart emoji] to me you are beautiful just as you are. Women supporting women." with five fire emojis.

Professional dancer Graziano Di Prima said: "#nowords," with three angry emojis while former Strictly star Jamie simply posted a red heart emoji.

Meanwhile McFly's Tom Fletcher raged: "What the actual hell?! Tilly you are absolutely BEAUTIFUL and don’t let anyone ever tell you otherwise" with a red heart emoji.

In addition to Tilly's Strictly friends, Love Island's Dr Alex George said: "This is horrendous. Who is this person? I am so so sorry Tilly," with a red heart emoji.

Taking it one step further, Alex also wrote an official complaint to LBC Radio as he said: "I am absolutely horrified by these remarks. It is widely recognised just how damaging such comments about someone's weight are and the effect they can have on an individual's mental health.

"We must not only think of the effect on Tilly here, which I can imagine could be significant, but also the potential impact to listeners of the show."
