Sheridan Smith shows son Billy's face for the first time in rare snap of toddler
SHERIDAN Smith has shown her son Billy's face for the first time in a series of adorable Instagram posts.
The actress, 40, held the smiling 15-month-old close to her as she snapped a selfie.
She wrote: "My beautiful boy 🥰 how handsome ❤️."
Anther picture showed the tot happily pushing himself along on a sit-down toy truck, while in a video the pair had a kiss as they walked through a park.
Her followers heaped praise on the single mum, calling them "adorable" and "lookalikes".
Earlier this month Sheridan sparked rumours she's dating again just one month after her split from her fiance Jamie Horn.
The Cilla actress took to Instagram to share cosy snaps with her actor pal Alex Lawler.
Sheridan told fans she has been friends with Alex for "20 years" but that didn't stop fans suggesting they look like a good couple.
"He doesn’t need a filter 🥰❤️ (unlike me) 😂 I love you Alex Lawler 😍👩🏼🤝👨🏽," Sheridan commented on Instagram.
"One day hubby," one fan suggested.
"Is this your new man?" another asked.
"A very handsome man for sure Sheridan," a third wrote.
The Sun has contacted Sheridan's representative for comment.
Last month, The Sun exclusively revealed Sheridan and Jamie had gone their separate ways.
It came just over a year after the pair welcomed the birth of their first son Billy in May.
Cilla actress Sheridan met former insurance broker Jamie, 31, on the dating app Tinder in 2018 and they soon got engaged.
In a joint statement given to The Sun on Sunday, the couple said: “It is with great sadness that we have decided to have some time apart.
“We both remain completely committed to raising our beautiful boy Billy together. We ask that you respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you.”
The pair appeared in a one-off ITV documentary last year called Sheridan Smith: Becoming Mum which followed her pregnancy.
Dog-lover Sheridan, who recently presented Pooch Perfect on BBC One, is now focusing on upcoming work projects.
The multi award-winning star is one of the UK’s best-loved actresses.
She has appeared in a host of memorable shows as diverse as Mrs Biggs, Gavin and Stacey, The Royle Family, Benidorm and Jonathan Creek.
She also stars in the new Railway Children film due out next year.
