Spoilers: Ben’s violent temper claims another victim in EastEnders tonight

Ben (Max Bowden)’s behaviour has disastrous consequences in tonight’s EastEnders, when he once again launches a violent attack on someone he perceives to be a threat to Callum (Tony Clay).

Still upset about the defaced poster in the Square, Ben is avoiding Callum, who is keen to spend time with his husband for their wedding anniversary.

Ben spots a man called Rich laughing at the defaced poster and angrily confronts him. Lewis (Aidan O’Callaghan) is there to calm him down and defuse the situation, and he invites Ben for drinks at the Albert.

Meanwhile, Callum is trying to think of a way he can make things better for Ben and confides in Mick (Danny Dyer) about how difficult things are. When Zack (James Farrar) arrives he helps Callum to get a good deal on Sharon (Letitia Dean)’s old flat, and Callum hopes it could be a fresh start for him and Ben.

Unfortunately, Rich has turned up at the Albert and is causing trouble, winding Ben up into a furious rage. As Ben leaves, he sees someone he thinks is Rich and launches a brutal attack on him.

And then he realises it’s not Rich at all. Who is the unintended victim of Ben’s assault?

Elsewhere Kat (Jessie Wallace) puts her foot down when Phil (Steve McFadden) suggests they remortgage the cab office to raise the money to buy Ruby’s, leaving Sam (Kim Medcalf) to look for the money elsewhere. Janine (Charlie Brooks) encourages Jada (Kelsey Calladine-Smith) to speak to Martin (James Bye) about Linda (Kellie Bright) being drunk around the children.

And Howie (Delroy Atkinson) doesn’t get quite the evening he bargained for when he goes on a date with Kim (Tameka Empson).
