Spoilers: Peter leaves Ian to die in devastating revenge attack in EastEnders?

Peter Beale (Dayle Hudson) was incredibly hurt by Ian’s (Adam Woodyatt) actions in EastEnders tonight (November 23), and therefore he sought to take revenge.

Peter received a phone call from Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa), who informed him that her home had burnt down, and that she’d barely managed to rescue Louie in time.

The young man was devastated, and thus asked dad Ian for help with sorting some cash. Ian agreed at first, but — after discussing things with Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) — he revealed that he was unable to offer any amount of money.

Peter was horrified, having once again been let down by Ian.

However, he received yet another shock later that very day, as he learned that Ian had left him out of his will.

He relayed such a discovery to Ash (Gurlaine Kaur Garcha), who understood his upset, but Peter revealed that what makes matters worse is the fact that Bobby (Clay Milner Russell) is, in fact, included in the will.

Peter reiterated that he can’t get his head around the fact that Bobby did ‘the worst thing ever’ on his family, and was ‘given the world’ in return.

Therefore, he revealed that he, also, would like the ‘world’.

The subtext spoke volumes, but just how far will Peter go in order to get what he wants?

With EastEnders having confirmed that Ian is left to die in a deadly attack in upcoming scenes, the question is: is Peter the one who carries out the attack?

He certainly has motive now, that’s for sure!

EastEnders continues Tuesday November 24 at 7:35pm on BBC One.
