Stacey Solomon shows off Joe Swash's final costume as he surprises son Rex on birthday after x-rated blunder

STACEY Solomon showed off Joe Swash's final costume for their son Rex's birthday – after his previous X-rated blunder.

The Loose Women panellist, 31, posted a sweet tribute to their toddler, who turned two-years-old today.

In the pic, Joe can be seen in the full costume – based on the Disney film Moana – with a purple bodysuit, a straw skirt and a spray painted bin lid to act as a shell.

He also has googly eyes on his head, while posing in blue ocean decorations.

Then in the next picture Rex is sitting on top of his dad with a huge grin on his face.

Stacey captioned the pic: "Happy Birthday Pickle 🦀 Oh baby boy we hope you’ve had the bestest day ever.

"My animal loving little Maui. How are you two years old already… 😭 Watching you grow every day, learn and develops into such a special human alongside your brothers is our biggest privilege.

"Every day your smile and joy just keeps us going. Mummy will keep working on her costume skills as you grow I promise 😂 R

"ex you bring so much happiness into our lives every day… Zachy, Leighton, Harry, Theo, Peanut, Meowiii, Daddy and Mummy love you all the way to the moon and stars and back again. Always. Can the years start slowing down now please? 🥺🥺

"Thank you everyone for your beautiful messages, stories and posts, they’ve had me ready all day. We love you all so so much. This really is a special place…🥺🖤"

In the video, the family danced around to Moana songs, with Rex wearing Maui's costume of a leaf skirt and a top with his tattoos on it.

Meanwhile, oldest brother Zach, 13, dressed as Moana to complete the set up.

It wasn't plain sailing for Joe's costume though as on Friday Stacey was forced to censor a photo of her fiancé in the tight bodysuit.

As her older sons Zachary and Leighton, 9, laughed in the background, she filmed Joe doing his best crab impression in the purple outfit.

"Trying to make Joe a shiny Tamatoa Crab costume for Rex's birthday and it's not looking very appropriate for a toddler's party," Stacey joked.

"Oh my god, just tuck it away, why is it there?" she could be heard shouting at Joe in the background as he tried to hide his manhood.

"Just move it!" Stacey shouted as Joe helplessly defended himself, hurling back: "And where am I supposed to put it? It's my penis!"

The Tap To Tidy writer then showed fans a close up, showing Joe holding a coconut to cover his intimates as he smiled for the camera.

"Send help," Stacey captioned the post. "I'm trying so so hard but I don't know if its my costume or Joe but I'm crying actual tears."

"Maybe his shiny shell and claws will help bring it together," she concluded, showing off the purple outfit's googly eyes and tentacles.

"I have no more energy left for this bloody costume. I've been trying to sew on these arms in the right place for 2 hours but my model is a jobs worth."
