The Chase fans stunned as Jeremy Corbyn lookalike takes on The Beast
ITV viewers were left stunned after they spotted one contestant on The Chase who they thought looked incredibly like the former Labour Party leader, Jeremy Corbyn.
As far as we know, 72-year-old ex Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn is yet to make his official debut on The Chase, but to many fans this week it looked as if the left-wing politician was in fact making a surprise feature on the popular quiz show.
During Wednesday's show, the latest batch of four hopeful players entered the studio to try their luck against the genius Chasers to take home a big cash prize.
But one contestant in particular appeared to steal the show for everyone watching along at home due to his jaw-dropping resemblance to the famous Labour Party politician.
When 71-year-old John, a retired History teacher from Warwick, rocked up to try his luck against The Chaser first, fans couldn't believe how much he looked like the MP.
With his bushy beard and smart teacher-like attire, the history-loving contestant could easily have been mistaken for Mr Corbyn.
Fans immediately took to Twitter to air their disbelief at how much the player looked like the left-wing politician.
One puzzled viewer tweeted: "Is that Jeremy Corbyn?"
