Mark Labbett, 54, was on hand to challenge Wednesday’s selection of The Chase contestants, hoping to knock them all out, one-by-one. Host Bradley Walsh, 60, was asking all the questions and support each player through their time on the ITV quiz show. All four had the aim of contributing to the jackpot and leaking away with a share of the money. However, it was the first wannabe general knowledge guru who left The Beast riled when she made a comment about The Vixen star Jenny, 38, albeit unknowingly “insulting” the Chaser.
Contestant Lucy seemed eager to get the game off to a positive start, being the first of Wednesday’s team to get the ball rolling.
After introducing herself to the host, the player managed to accumulate £4,000 during her cash-builder round.
Bradley then went on to probe the amateur quizzer about which Chaser would choose to take on if she had the choice.
The competitor revealed she had her eye on facing off against Jenny, but in doing so, she innocently said The Vixen wasn’t as good as her fellow quizmasters.
Arriving onto the set, Mark couldn’t hold back from the comment which had just been made about his colleague and hit back.

Explaining why she wanted to face Jenny, the contestant told Bradley: “I’d love to take on The Vixen.
“She’s not too much older than me, but she is older than me, but I think her knowledge isn’t quite as good so I reckon I could have a good chance of winning.”
The host then revealed it would be Mark who Lucy would be facing off against and as he took his seat, The Beast didn’t look too happy.
“Do you want to know how good The Vixen is? She’s way better than you and I’m going to whop you for that comment,” he furiously declared.
Before they went on to complete their head-to-head round, The Chaser jokingly told his opponent he had received a message from backstage, with this fellow quizzers tell him to take her down.
By the end of the round, Lucy was knocked out of the game as Mark’s knowledge seemed too superior to defeat.
However, The Beast didn’t let the matter about his colleague drop as he told the contestant: “You insult one of us, you insult all of us.”
Taking to Twitter, those watching at home also didn’t seem too pleased with Lucy’s comments against The Vixen star.
