The Truth About Emma Caulfield’s Divorce
From 1998 until 2003, Emma Caulfield was riding high as part of the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” cast. After the show wrapped, she continued to thrive not only in her professional life — appearing on shows like “Private Practice” and “Once Upon a Time” — but in her personal life, as well. In 2006, she tied the knot with Cornelius Grobbelaar. However, just four years later Caulfield shocked fans when news broke that the “Buffy” star had filed for divorce, per E! News.
Caulfield and Grobbelaar were a pretty low-key couple, so not much is known about their time together. However, as they say, everything happens for a reason and just like her character Anya on “Buffy,” she’s slain that chapter of her life. While Caulfield has since moved on, fans can’t help but wonder what went down between the “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum and her ex-husband.

Emma Caulfield kept her personal life very private
In May 2010, Emma Caulfield made headlines when it was revealed that she had filed for divorce from her husband of more than three years, Cornelius Grobbelaar. Per E! News, Caulfield “cited those ever pesky (and vague) irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split in court papers filed … in Los Angeles Superior Court.” And that’s pretty much the only insight fans have ever gotten.
Per the outlet, a day after the listed date of seperation on the court documents, Grobbelaar reportedly took to his MySpace to write, “Ok.. New day..,” adding, “The twist and turns can make it seem so unfair…”
Caulfield has since moved on, saying “I do” to husband Mark Leslie Ford in 2015. The two share a daughter named Knightley Lake Ford. Unlike with her previous relationship, Caulfield publicly celebrates her life with her family and is seemingly happy to share them with the world.
