Tipping Points Ben Shephard worries fans as he sounds ill and looks tired

    Tipping Point host Ben Shephard left fans worried about his wellbeing when he returned to host the hit ITV quiz show on tonight’s episode (January 2nd).

    Viewers feared that the popular presenter looked “knackered” on the latest airing, which saw Sarj, Pauling and Richard try their luck against the tough Tipping Point machine.

    It was clear fans were less concerned about the contestants and more focused on their host as they couldn't keep their eye off the Good Morning Britain star during the episode.

    “Ben looks rough as fu*k today. #TippingPoint.” Said one viewer.

    A second asked: “Ben, are you alright, lad?” followed by a meme featuring the words “look at the bags under my eyes.”

    While a fourth added: “Ben sounds like he has a cold,I’ll willingly rub Vicks on his chest sorry #TippingPoint.”

    Ben never fails to dress smartly for the show and Tuesday saw him looking dapper as ever in a suave suit and open-collar shirt.

    But it didn't stop fans from claiming he looked shot for energy during the episode, or simply that he didn't seem his usual bubbly self.

    Ben recently shared that he spent his Christmas morning in a rather unorthodox fashion after going swimming the sea in Cornwall with his family.

    The presenter shared a clip to Instagram at the time that showed him in the picturesque seaside village of Port Isaac in Cornwall, where he and several other people were splashing around in the water.

    “Christmas Day in Port Isaac, on the beach!” the TV star said through shivers.

    He explained he was out with his brother, who was wearing ‘budgie smugglers’ in the water – a term meaning, well, you can probably guess.

    ‘The village is looking stunning,’ Ben went on as he sprinted through the water under the cold winter sun.

    ‘Best way to wake up! Merry Christmas everybody!’

    In a caption alongside the video, he wrote he had meant to post the video earlier but he had ‘only just thawed out.’

    ‘Happy Christmas all hope you’ve had a wonderful Christmas – ours was #cornish bracing and wonderfully boozy! Apologies for my brothers #budgiesmugglers.’
