Tommy Fury: Love Island star set for HEARTBREAK as Anton sets his sights on Molly-Mae?

Tommy Fury, 20, was on the brink of being sent home during Friday’s recoupling on Love Island, with his saving grace being Molly-Mae Hague, 19, choosing to partner with him instead of the first dumped contestant, Callum Macleod, 28.

The young boxer was the first islander Molly-Mae met after her unexpected arrival in the villa, with Tommy taking an interest in her after being entangled in a love triangle with Lucie Donlan, 21, and Joe Garratt, 22.

Fans of the hit ITV dating show will be tuning in tonight to see what happened after the first recoupling of the series and whether Tommy and Molly-Mae are still on good terms.

It looks like Tommy could find himself in yet another love triangle as gym owner Anton, 24, makes his intensions clear to Molly-Mae tonight.

Before speaking with Molly-Mae, Anton takes Tommy to the side and tells him: “I’m going to have chats with Molly-Mae later on. I just feel, out of respect for you, I would always say that.”

Although it seems Tommy is fine with Anton getting to know his partner, the islander says later in the Beach Hut: “Anton is going to fancy Molly-Mae because she is a very attractive girl and Anton is basically a single man.

“I’ve come from one love triangle and now I’m in another one!” the boxer exclaims.

It’s not long before Anton finally talks to Molly-Mae, as when the pair are in the kitchen, he tells her: “Obviously, I’m just going to keep getting to know you.

“You’re the only girl in here that I’ve got an interest in, to have something more than a friendship,” before later going on to add: “I’m very attracted to you.”

After hearing Anton’s feelings about her, Molly-Mae tells him: “Thanks. You’re a good-looking guy. You’re a gorgeous guy.”

He’s not as on the ball

Following the night of the recoupling, the next day, Molly-Mae takes to the Beach Hut and says of Anton: “The boy can’t do enough for me and I can see it’s genuine. That’s such a lovely thing.

“Whereas, with Tommy, I do find him very attractive but he’s not as on the ball with how to woo a girl. He kind of the takes the back seat.”

Molly-Mae later tells Anton: “I definitely think I am very torn,” so could this be the end of her and Tommy before they’ve even had a chance to make a go of things?

Things will appear rocky between the islanders later on in the programme as the contestants gather around the fire pit to play a Share Your Secrets game.

When Molly-Mae asks Tommy to tell her about her most attractive quality is, the islander refers to a teddy bear the social media influencer brought with her.

It seems Tommy’s answer doesn’t go down too well with Molly-Mae, as she later says in the Beach Hut: “He just wasn’t really getting it that this was an opportunity to tell me something great.

“He could have said anything and he said my cuddly toy,” she continued, so could this mean things will turn frosty between the pair?

However, if Anton fails to win over Molly-Mae by the next recoupling, he could be in serious danger as his partner Amber Gill, 21, could be wooed over by newcomer Danny Williams, 21.

Latest odds from bookmakers Coral have Anton as 2-1 to be the next boy eliminated from the villa, with Yewande Biala, 23, still the hot favourite to be the first girl dumped at 5-4.

Meanwhile, former islander Eval Booker, 23, has spoken out about what viewers don’t get to see in the highlight shows.

Love Island 2019 continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
