Wells Adams Says This Is How Producers Found Out About Ivan and Alexa's Hotel Hookup

Still confused about last week’s Ivan Hall drama on Bachelor in Paradise? To recap real fast so we’re all on the same WTF page, contestants had to stay in a hotel mid-season for weather-related reasons, and apparently Ivan got access to a producer’s phone, found everyone’s room number, and snuck out to meet up with Alexa Caves—who hadn’t joined the show yet.

There’s been some speculation about whether or not producers planted the phone for Ivan to find (as he put it, “There was a phone in my room, a producer’s phone, it was just there. It was literally the first thing on the screen, I didn’t go searching for anything, it was a screenshot of the room numbers and stuff.”), and now Wells Adams is opening up about exactly how this happened.

So, how did producers even find out? Wells explained that “A producer was next door to [Alexa’s] room. She heard people talking late into the night. [Alexa] obviously [is] quarantined away from everyone, [and the producer is] like, ‘Who is this person talking to? What’s going on?’ How we found out about it was she called and asked for a wake-up call at, like, five in the morning. When we found out about that, we were like, ‘What is she waking up for? She’s not going to set.”

Apparently, said producer then asked Alexa what was up, and she “broke down” and “spilled,” leading to both her and Ivan leaving the show. Honestly this is all very !!! and at this point I am begging ABC to throw together a last minute zoom reunion special.
