Eight episodes form the first season, with the finale airing on November 12.

The official synopsis says: “One year after the fatal car accident that haunted their graduation night, a group of teenagers find themselves bound together by a dark secret and stalked by a brutal killer.

“As they try to piece together who’s after them, they reveal the dark side of their seemingly perfect town—and themselves.

“Everyone is hiding something, and uncovering the wrong secret could be deadly.”

The series was filmed in Oahu, with production taking place in January 2021.

Oahu is the third-largest of the Hawaiian Islands, also known as ‘The Gathering Place’, and it falls within Honolulu City.

The island features two shield volcanoes and popular landmarks include Waikiki, Diamond Head, Pearl Harbor and North Shore.

The name of the island does not have an official Hawaiian meaning, but it is believed to come from the legend of Hawai’iloa.

The legend refers to the navigator who is believed to have discovered the Hawaiian Islands.

The island has been used as a backdrop for numerous films and series in popular culture.

The popular series Lost was filmed almost entirely on Oahu, as well as the film 50 First Dates and the series Father and Me.

The Test Drive video games are also based on the island, as well as the German reality series The Reimanns.

Actress Madison Iseman is on Instagram and she shared the trailer for the upcoming series.

Fans took to the comments to express their excitement, and the teaser starts with a graduation party.

They end up leaving the party in the car and find themselves in deep trouble when they cause a fatal accident.

A year on and a mysterious message appears on a mirror, saying: “I know what you did last summer”.

The characters are heard saying: “Even if someone knows what happened, they can’t prove it.”

A message then appears, saying: “Everyone is guilty, no one is safe.”
