Strictly Come Dancing is going to return in a matter of weeks, bringing more celebrities to the dancefloor who dream of lifting up the Glitter Ball trophy. They will once again each be paired with a professional dancer who is going to teach them everything that they need to know in order to sail through the competition. Given their popularity on the BBC One reality series, some of them could make a pretty penny away from the ballroom.
How much can the Strictly Come Dancing professionals earn from social media?
While it is always exciting to see the latest lot of celebrities get their dancing shoes on, fans cannot wait to also see the professionals back on their screens.
Each has won themselves a legion of fans thanks to Strictly and because of this, they have the potential to make a lot of money via their social media accounts.
Beauty comparison site Cosmetify.com analysed the Instagram profiles of the dancers and used marketing calculators to evaluate how influential each of this year’s professionals are.
So who is the dancer that could earn the most from their Instagram alone?
In first place is none other than red-headed dancer Dianne Buswell who has a following of 842,715.
She can expect to earn an average of £3,355 per sponsored Instagram post if she was to go down this route.
So the 32-year-old Australian would only need to do 15 sponsored posts to match her Strictly salary of £50,000.
Buswell is in a relationship with former Strictly contestant and YouTuber Joe Sugg which is expected to be a major factor as to why she is at the top.

In the leaderboard, Buswell is closely followed by Gorka Marquez who has been on Strictly since 2016.
He is also in a relationship with a former contestant, actress Gemma Atkinson with whom he now has a baby.
Marquez is deemed as the second most influential with the potential to rake in an average of £2,598 per sponsored Instagram post.
The next professional shouldn’t come as too much as a surprise, seeing as she has won the series two years in a row.

Dancer and former judge on The Masked Dancer, Oti Mabuse, can expect to earn around £2,340 per post, making her the third most influential.
Mabuse won with former Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher back in 2019 and last year repeated this success with comedian Bill Bailey.
In fourth place is charming Italian Giovanni Pernice who has more than 470,000 followers.
He could earn an average of £1,897 per sponsored post which is bound to have gone up after announcing his relationship with former Love Island star Maura Higgins.

Pernice is closely followed by Aljaž Škorjanec who has the potential to make £1,852 per sponsored post.
He is married to former Strictly professional Janette Manrara who has left the show to take over from Zoe Ball as host of the spin-off show It Takes Two.
Together, they could have a combined earning of £3,608 when they both post sponsored content on their social media.
Strictly Come Dancing starts tonight at 7:45pm on BBC One.
