Who is Clive Owen from Our Yorkshire Farm? What does Clive Owen do for a living?

Clive Owen, alongside his wife Amanda Owen, is a successful hill shepherd and first-generation farmer.

He has been living on the farm for more than 25 years, despite not being from a non-farming background.

Clive, 66, met Amanda, 45, at his Ravenseat farm in 1996.

The couple lives on Ravenseat Farm, which is situated three and a half miles west of Keld in Swaledale, Yorkshire Dales.

Amanda, who was 21-years-old at the time was sent to Ravenseat on a work errand. She and Clive struck up a great friendship that turned into romance.

Clive and Amanda have nine children, with the oldest, Raven, now at university and Nancy, the youngest only a toddler.

Their other children in order of oldest to youngest are Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas and Clemmy.

The Owen’s are known for their unique family life, with all of the children working on the farmland living a traditional rural lifestyle.

Unfortunately, very little is known about Clive personally.

His wife, Amanda has gone on to write several books including The Yorkshire Shepherdess, Adventures of the Yorkshire Shepherdess and A Year in the Life of the Yorkshire Shepherdess.

Her first book, the Yorkshire Shepherd became a Sunday Times bestseller in 2014.

She also posts several snippets of Owen family life on Instagram.
