Yellowstone season four is definitely on the way and fans cannot wait to see the Dutton family return. The series follows the Yellowstone Dutton cattle ranch and John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner) has to defend his land from developers and rivals. Fans are keen to find out more about the fourth series and Express.co.uk has everything you need to know.

Will there be another series of Yellowstone?

Yellowstone returned to Paramount Network and Amazon Prime Video for a third season on June 21.

Fans will be pleased to hear Paramount Network has already announced the show will return for a fourth season.

An official release date is yet to be announced but fans are likely to see new episodes in June 2021.

The network had signed a deal with creator Taylor Sheridan to work on new projects, so there is no sign of the show ending any time soon.

With the coronavirus pandemic impacting TV production, fans may have to wait a little longer than expected for more Dutton action.

Who will be in the cast of Yellowstone season 4?

Most of the main cast are likely to return for the fourth season, including Costner as John Dutton.

Costner also executive produces the series and he has remained one of the leading lights.

Luke Grimes plays Kayce Dutton, John’s youngest son, and Kelly Reilly plays Beth Dutton, John’s daughter.

Wes Bentley is Jamie Dutton, John’s other son, and Cole Hauser is Rip Wheeler – John’s business partner.

The family has been caught up in a feud with billionaire land developer Dan Jenkins, who is played by Danny Huston.

Is there a trailer for Yellowstone season 4?

Sadly as the third season has only just finished airing it is too early for a new trailer to drop.

The network will most likely drop an official trailer a couple of months before the new season is due to air.

With this in mind, fans could be waiting until 2021 before they are treated to a first look at season four.

In the meantime, the season three trailer is still available to watch and it shows John explaining how he made a promise to protect the ranch.

There are plans for a new airport and city to be built in the area and developers are not John’s only enemies.

What will Yellowstone season 4 be about?

There is no knowing what will happen in season four just yet but co-creator Taylor Sheridan told Deadline about filming plans.

He said: “We’re supposed to start mid-August, and we’re putting that together as best we can.

“I’m fortunate that this show shoots on a ranch in Montana. We’re going to shoot exclusively there this year, or in and around it. So we’ve got the crew and the cast up there, and it’s in an area of the state that has no active [coronavirus] cases now.”

Fans have already noticed how the Dutton family is starting to fall apart as Jamie and John continue to argue.

The official Yellowstone Twitter account posted a video of Beth as she says: “You are the trailer park, I am the tornado.”

Fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on the latest season, and Beth is becoming a fan-favourite.

One viewer said: “I love how she plays the role, she is doing it perfectly, she’s mostly the main reason why I love the show a lot.

“I admit in the beginning I watched because of Kevin Costner but then it kept getting better and better especially with Beth’s character – I hope to see more of her.”

Another fan said: “#YellowstoneTV there’s no other show on American television that tells the story of indigenous people in the US.

“@ParamountTVS and #taylorsheridan are doing something important with @Yellowstone.”
