Denver, Colorado weather today: Frosty Monday morning begins mild week
Grab a coat for the morning commute Monday as temperatures today begin near-freezing.
A chilly, frosty Monday morning will begin a week of mild temperatures and sunny days.
The Denver and Boulder areas are in a frost advisory until 9 a.m. Monday as patchy frost in the area could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation and kill outdoor plants if left uncovered.
Areas directly north and east of Denver and most of the northeast plains are in a freeze warning Monday morning until 9 a.m.
After 9 a.m., the day will become more mild, with a high temperature of 64 degrees in Denver and sunny conditions. Some light winds could also spring up in the area.
Monday’s low temperature is 38 degrees, the lowest it’ll be this week.
The mild daytime weather will continue most of the week with sunny, dry days through Thursday.
Tuesday will start a warming trend with a high of 68 degrees, then Wednesday and Thursday will both reach the mid 70s.
Some strong northerly wind gusts this week could reach up to 30 mph in some areas of the plains, and near-critical fire conditions will bee possible in the plains and Urban Corridor as the dry weather continues.
Humidity values could get as low as 12% this week.
