Flights delayed at Denver International Airport amid continued downpour

Travelers flying in and out of Denver International Airport on Friday had to contend with 103 flight delays amid heavy rain and flooding along Colorado’s Front Range, according to the FlightAware tracking service.

DIA also had a couple of cancellations, as of 10 a.m., and ranked near the top of the list of U.S. airports Friday for delayed inbound and outbound flights, data on the FlightAware online site showed.

Among airlines, Southwest had the most delays with 51, followed by United with 15, SkyWest with 12, and Frontier with 9.

This is a developing story.
