‘Harry could profit from Lilibet’s ‘top secret’ christening in memoir’ – expert

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s daughter Lilibet has already been christened, and details of the ceremony will likely be included in Harry’s highly anticipated upcoming memoir, a royal commentator has claimed.

Meghan gave birth to second child Lilibet in June, but the public are yet to receive any pictures of the baby, and there has been no formal announcement of her christening.

Some commentators had expected that the couple’s daughter would follow her brother Archie, and receive a royal christening attended by the Queen in Windsor.

However, royal expert Neil Sean has now claimed on his YouTube channel that a private ceremony has already been held.

“According to a very good source out in LA, allegedly, the daughter of Harry and Meghan has indeed been christened. All top secret, allegedly,” he suggested.

“But what’s interesting here is, we won’t get to know anything about that particular end of it until the book comes out.

“Apparently that could now become a chapter within the book.”

The Duke of Sussex announced in July this year that he is publishing a tell-all memoir, set for release in late 2022.

In a statement, the prince said the book will be “a firsthand account of my life that’s accurate and wholly truthful.”

This has reportedly raised fears among members of the royal institution about what topics Harry might spill the beans on.

And, with the possibility of the novel containing some explosive revelations, Neil suggested that the Sussexes might use it as an opportunity to develop their commercial interests.

“When you think about it, it would make perfect sense. Putting pictures in like that, finding out who the guests are, the godmother, the godfather,” he continued.

“That possibly has a selling point, not necessarily to the public, but to newspapers and magazines that may wish to license that story and reprint it on the same day around the world. It could be very profitable."

Neil did acknowledge that this speculation is “hearsay”, noting: “It’s very difficult to pin this particular story down.”

“But, it would make sense when you think about it for Harry and Meghan, because they are notoriously private about the things they want to keep private,” he added.

“And if you think about it moving forward, this would be a sellable point of the book.”
