Man shot in arm in apparent random attack at Grand Central Terminal

A 40-year-old man was shot in the arm on a subway platform at Grand Central Terminal on Saturday morning, law enforcement sources told The Post.

The shooting — at 10:30 a.m. on the southbound, No. 4 train platform — is so far being considered a random attack, and the gunman remained at large early Saturday afternoon.

The shooter, described as in his 20s and wearing a sweatshirt and a red bandanna, fled from the platform after the shooting.

The shooting has caused a suspension in service of 4 and 6 trains “while NYPD continues their investigation at Grand Central-42nd St.,” the MTA’s Twitter site stated.

The shooting comes during yet another bloody night in the five boroughs, during which four people, including a city Correction officer, were killed.
