Mystery of man, 39, who vanished two minutes after walking out of home before being found dead in neighbor's apartment

A MAN who vanished minutes after walking out of his home has been found dead in a neighbor's apartment.

Jarrod Anthony Papen, 39, was reportedly on his way to pick up his daughters for a birthday party when he went missing on May 14.

His partner had stayed inside the San Antonio, Texas apartment for two minutes to finish getting ready, and didn't find Papen when they came out, KSAT reported.

That's when Papen's partner reported him missing to police.

Papen's body was found in an apartment two doors down from his own just over 24 hours later.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, a neighbor found his body in her living room and contacted authorities.
