Paedo ‘battered in prison’ hours after admitting rape and kidnap of girl, 13
A paedophile who raped and kidnapped a 13-year-old girl was beaten up in jail hours after admitting his shocking crimes, according to reports.
Sicko Kadian Nelson was reportedly battered after admitting to kidnap, rape and making a threat to kill this week.
As prison officers checked him into Wandsworth Prison in South London a fellow inmate attacked him, the Sun reports.
Nelson was rushed to hospital for treatment. He will be sentenced in August.
He admitted attacking the teenage girl who had been walking to school in Mitcham, south London, in November last year.
Kingston Crown Court heard he followed the victim before creeping up behind her and putting one hand over her mouth and another on her head.
The paedophile threatened to kill her and forced her to walk towards an alleyway.
The girl had been on the phone chatting to a friend about their homework when she was attacked just after 7am.
Nelson then raped her. Police were alerted when a woman called saying her daughter had seen a man grab a young girl.
A family member of the woman then went to check on what happened and interrupted Nelson, who said the victim was his sister when questioned.
The victim then managed to signal that she needed help before police arrived and Nelson fled, leaving the victim wearing his jacket.
At the time of the attack Scotland Yard were forced to warn people not to “take the law into their own hands” after the case gained traction on social media.
Crowds of locals visited various addresses and police said "emotions are running high".
Nelson was arrested just hours after the depraved attack in nearby Tooting.
A Prison Service spokeswoman said: "A prisoner was treated in hospital for an injury to his cheek – police are investigating."
